Lisa and Mark lost their beautiful 18 year old daughter, Letitia (Tesh) to meningococcal C on 24 July 2012. The disease struck quickly and took hold of her body so rapidly that there was little the medical specialists could do.
Lisa shared her story with that's life! magazine to help people understand just how quickly meningococcal C and meningitis can strike, to raise awareness of the symptoms and urge parents, family members and friends to seek medical attention fast should they be concerned about someone they love.
Tesh lost her brave battle, but gave a wonderfult gift to others through organ donation.
