Chloe Boniface was only 18 years old and had just completed her first year of University in Wellington when she died of Meningitis B on 7 November 2018. Her Aunty started an online petition requesting the House of Representatives urge the Government to make a fully-funded Meningitis vaccine available to all New Zealanders that includes all Meningitis strains, and to prioritise education on the disease, particularly for those in kindergartens and schools and university students, who are most at risk.
